About The Golden Gecko Garden Center

The Golden Gecko was created by Trey and Monica Pitsenberger in 2004. Prior to that they operated the well known Happy Frog Garden Center in Auburn for 7 years. Trey and Monica both have deep horticultural roots spanning three decades. 

Located at 2000' elevation in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, the garden center serves local residents with plants and products appropriate for mountain living. The Garden Center also boasts a online presence and the ability to help folks nationwide with their gardening questions and needs.
