Gardening Classes & Events

Classes
all classes are free unless otherwise noted

Tinsmith Workshop - Join us for our annual "Tinsmith" Workshop with Betsy. She will guide us through the process of creating art made from sheets of tin. We have had this class in the past and it has been quite popular! We will hold the workshop in our new workshop building which can be kept toasty warm when the cold winds blow. Enjoy the camaraderie and pleasure from creating art the old fashioned way. What a great gift idea for this holiday season. Only 10 spots available.

Date: Saturday November, 20th
Time: 10 to 11am
Cost: $15 per person

Call or e-mail to reserve a seat.

Seed Bundle Workshop/Scholarship Fundraiser - Join the ladies from Lotus Valley Natives and learn a traditional method of protecting seeds, now known as guerrilla gardening in urban areas, and walk away with a beautifully packaged gift just in time for the holidays! This is a greaseed ballst workshop for children and adults alike (children under 10 must be supervised). The money we raise from this workshop will help to fund our school scholarship program designed to get native plant gardens into local schools. This is our first fund raising event, so come help us kick it off! If you have questions about the event, feel free to send us an email or call. Please rsvp to reserve a seat.

Date: Saturday, December 4
Time: 10 to 11am
Cost:$10 donation requested.

Call or e-mail to reserve a seat.

Classes are held outside if the weather is nice or inside if not.
Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available.

Please RSVP at 333-2394 or trey@thegoldengecko.com
