Fresh Herbs!

You can have fresh herbs for summer cooking and entertaining when you grow them yourself. Herbs grow great in the ground, or even better in containers. Place the containers where you and your guests can enjoy their beauty, and are easily accessible for picking. The Golden Gecko carries a fresh supply of herbs all summer, including, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. One fundamental for growing basil, cilantro, and dill is to plant three times a year.

Sage gives you a firework display of vibrant colors, loves growing in the full sun, has great deer resistance and will attract hummingbirds. The Golden Gecko carries over 10 varieties of sage to help spice up the summer garden. To find out more check out the article Sunsational Salvias located in our garden forum.
